We are proud to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Chitwan Valley Family Study!

For three decades, this groundbreaking study has contributed vital insights into family dynamics, social change, health, and wellbeing in Nepal’s Chitwan Valley. Since its inception in 1995, thousands of community members have shared their stories, helping to inform policies and programs that make a difference around the world.

This milestone is a testament to the dedication of our study participants, field staff, research collaborators, and funders. Their commitment and partnership have powered CVFS’s legacy of innovation and impact. As we look ahead, we remain grateful for the ongoing support from the Chitwan community, and we are excited to continue this important work together.
